I'm getting fairly consistent crashes with beta 3 when: a) changing views, and b) preferences.

Should I trash my preferences and try again? Or are others experiencing the same thing? Beta 1 worked just fine.

Thanks in advance.

That should have been "will work even better with Word 2008." Sorry, Jon. Great work on the 10.1 beta, too.

Bookends and Citation Management in Word 2008?

Although I've been using Mellel as my primary word processing application, it has come to my attention that Word 2008 will be implementing a new citation management feature. See here http://www.macoffice2008.com/ Since BE has been so nicely integrated with Mellel, I was wondering if it will also wor...

In my opinion Notebook by Circus Pony Software is better than DEVONThink. The last is very very slow on my PowerBook G4, and not very affordable. His functions partially overlapping with BE (absolutely the best computer app with Mellel). Notebook is a slight and very fast app with strong outlining ...

But here is my pitch that you please develop a simpler "merge and exclude duplicates" option. I share my database with everyone in my lab (6 people, each working on separate but related projects), yet I am the one that needs to confirm proper content and referencing for each publication. ...

I just bought a licence for HoudahSpot, which works fairly well as a substitute for Spotlight. But I suspect Leopard will introduce some major improvements to Spotlight. Who knows, however, after yesterday's keynote.

For what it is worth, I personally rank the support given by Jon at Sonny Software to be the best on the market. I have not seen any faster support from any other software company (I regard the Redlex company, the makers of Mellel, to be very close to be as fast as Jon at Sonny Software, though). I...
