NoteStream from iPad --> Mac
Sorry for the frequent posting these days! Today's question: is it true that there is no automatic way to have the "note stream" of the iPad app mirrored in the "notes" section on Mac? I found an option to manually add each note and highlight made in iPadOS to the Mac note, and I...

Re: How to obtain [@citekey] from floating citation function?
oh wow. Thanks so much -- you're always so helpful! That worked right away. The only puzzling thing is why on earth the iPad knew what to do all along with hardly any telling (just selected "bibtex" as the export format and that's it) when on the Mac such a convoluted route has to be taken...

How to obtain [@citekey] from floating citation function?
I apologize in advance if this is right under my nose. I would like to obtain the output [@citekey] from the floating citation window. I cannot figure out how. On iPadOS, this happens seamlessly when I select "copy citation" in BE and paste in a markdown document. On the Mac, I don't seem ...

Re: Is there a way to automatically include hyperlink in user field or note?
This is great, thank you so much!I’ll read the chapter and play around and tweak the script for my needs. This script is to be run manually as a one-off to put the URL where I want it across my whole library (or set, as you say) — but new refs would still have to be finished up manually, though, cor...

Is there a way to automatically include hyperlink in user field or note?
As the title says: I would like to have the hyperlink to BE (eg bookends://sonnysoftware.com/154243) for a given reference be included with the reference material itself, either in a user-defined field of the reference pane, or in the note tab. This is so that other applications that pull this data ...

Re: Question about linked BibTex file and formatting
ugh. Thank you for your answer. By the way, I'm posting another smaller question that I suspect you'll know the answer too as well but I'll make a separate thread for future reference.

Question about linked BibTex file and formatting
Hi all. Let me start by saying that I'm a little out of my depth here, so apologies if the solution is under my nose. I've been using the BE function to link, and update via shift-CMD-L, a .bibtex file. Fantastic function, by the way. I love that I was able to customize the output to include notes a...
