Hi John Questions re watch folder: 1. Is is a good or bad idea to make my default attachments folder the same as my watch folder? Pros and Cons? 2. Is it ok now with the latest update to Bookends to keep my default attachments folder on an external hard drive NOT the main Mac drive? Thank you Soram

In Bookends I want to try the new PDF reading function built into Bookends latest update My default PDF reader for my Mac is Skim. How do I open a PDF in the Bookends built in PDF Reader ? If I click open in default it opens in Skim 2. Are notes and highlights I make in in a pdf read in the Bookends...

I see the new Annotation View for PDF"s announced with the new version of Bookends. I cannot find it on any of my right click or other menus.
Can someone tell me how to view a PDF with this Annotation view?

Please advise if there a a way to PULL in a PDF into Bookends on Tap if I have set the import to be just the abstracts ?

It seems I just have a choice of ALL the abstracts go into On Tap or NONE Of the abstracts go in on sync?

Can bookends use an external PDF viewer and annotator such as Skim directly rather than opening inside Bookends itself?

HI ! I am a newbie to Bookends.

Can I have the main attachments folder ( Bookends default folder) have sub-folders in it and will the attachments in those subfolders be found and usable by Bookends the same as if they were in the ROOT of the default attachments folder?
