Re: Scan document in word not creating reference and cutting off.
Unchecking does the same thing. So for the last citation - {\e.g., \Chen and Cheng, 2008, #99170; Grimes and Warschauer, 2010, #100593; Li et al., 2015, #79122; Li et al., 2014, #55974; Link et al., 2014, #27866; Link et al., 2014, #86977; Tang and Rich, 2017, #4760; Warschauer and Grimes, 2008, #26...

Re: Scan document in word not creating reference and cutting off.
I don't understand what you mean.
I tried redoing the last citations from scratch and it cuts off at the same point as before.

Re: detach attachments
So how do I know which ones are the detached ones? Is there a way to generate a list of all attached files?

Re: Scan document in word not creating reference and cutting off.
New window. I've narrowed it down to this paragraph. In addition, when integrating AWE for formative purposes, teachers may not need to spend as much time correcting and giving feedback on surface error mistakes and shift focus to content, argumentation, and style {\e.g., \Wang et al., 2013, #34688;...

Scan document in word not creating reference and cutting off.
I am using up to date bookends and word. I have retain hidden citations and create new document window checked. It creates a new document with correctly formatted citations but no reference page and only until page 7. The original has 12 pages.

Re: detach attachments
Is there a easy way to find these orphaned attachments? Since I detached them, they should still be in the attachments folder. Right?

detach attachments
I have some corrupted pdfs, so on the attachment sidebar, I click on the right mouse button and click detach and then drag and drop a new file.
What happened to the detached file? Is it erased?

Re: scanning document deletes texts
saved the word version to rtf and scan it that way and it seems to be working.
But saving it as an rtf file strips away much of the formatting, which will take hours of work to redo.

scanning document deletes texts
I am scanning a document with generate bibliography, retain hidden citations and create new document window options. When I do so, the resulting document has correct in-text citations and cuts off after page 27 with no references. The original is 77 pages. The point where it cuts off is in the middl...

Unscan document bug?
When I unscan a document all the "^" seems to be stripped off.
Like Ferris (1997) turns to {Ferris, 1997, #56070} without the ^.
Is this a bug or is there a way to keep the ^?

separating multiple citations
I see that in format manager - citation options - common settings, I see that separate multiple citations with option. I want multiple citations with ";" but the ones with the same authors to be separated with a ",". How do I do that? E.g. {^Swain, 1985, #19114; ^Swain, 1988, #19...

More than one reference in a citation group.
I see that on page 247 of the manual it says that while using a carat "If a citation group contains more than one reference, the author(s) for the first citation will be placed in front, and the authors of the other references will not be displayed, e.g. Franks (2000, 2003)" So I have this ...

Got it. Thanks - didn't even occur to me to look in the format since this is a standard APA format.

help with author sorts.
Just moved to bookends after using mendeley so I can have a better workflow with scrivener. I have a problem, and couldn't find the answer in the user guide. I have a citation with multiple references. When I drag it to work from bookends, I get something like this. {Johnson, 2017, #75315; Chapelle ...
