I have the exact same problem - any pdf dragged to Bookends with a DOI identified ends up giving me an empty reference. I downloaded 12.5.4 again but it still doesn't work.

I agree, great update. However, I also get the redraw issues - basically it looks like some text is 'stuck' at the top of the window. I get this whether I scroll or not - have a look here

Ah, I see. I always have the right pane open so the tab command wasn't working. No big deal - for this type of job I'll just close the right pane and Tab away!

I am using BE 11.2.5 with Mellel 2.9.1 and since upgrading copying citations to Mellel via cmd-y hasn't been working properly. At times, when I press cmd-y in Mellel it goes to BE, I select a citation and press cmd-y in BE and nothing happens. Or rather - I can see the 'Edit' menu activating, but no...

Let me just add to #3 - even when moving individual references out of smart groups, there is seemingly no way for me to get rid of these references in BOT - the attachments and everything are still there
