Re: Custom reference types/field labels missed after update
Thanks for the information. We where able to track this down and it's now fixed in a silent update to 13.2.3. If you want to verify it yourself, download 13.2.3 again and then remove the file Installed Version.txt from the Bookends folder. Launch Bookends. Your modified Types and Labels should be p...

Re: Custom reference types/field labels missed after update
[Edit: >> ] Fixed. I didn't go back far enough into my TM backups. Pulling one from the first week of April restored all my settings again. Which is a relief! I have now copied both BE Preferences files (the larger one, that looks like a type of application file, and the Preferences.txt file) from ...

How to use keyboard to jump back into Search Field on Floating Citations?
Jon – is this possible? Floating Citations remains a fantastic addition – it has completely spoilt me with regards to how quickly I can add references directly into my text, without having to jump in between apps, and lose the 'flow' of where I was at. If the above is not possible, would it be very ...

Where are Reference Types stored - if at all?
Hello all, I have come across what I think is something odd – but to be honest, it has been so long since I have checked specifically, I might be misremembering how things were. I am reasonably certain that many moons ago, I created/edited one of the 'Unused' reference types, and named it "Repo...

Re: Floating citations
Thanks. In the next update you'll be able to drag and drop the PDF thumbnail into another application's document (e.g. an email you're composing). The pop-up menu was intended to handle citation features (like the same button in the library window). Of course I could put the hierarchical menu optio...

Re: Very useful script from our @Iandol
Bookends 13.1.2 has now been released and it includes the floating cite feature, Jon has done a great job on implementing this major new feature in less than a month since we first discussed it!!!! :D I can only second that - fantastic addition this! Many thanks to Jon for being so responsi...

Struggling with Font in Global Change
Hello all, Would appreciate some assistance. I'm trying to affect a global change across 91 references, specifically to the Journal name. I can make the change, but when it is done, for some reason the Font size of the new text I am inserting is set to size 11, as opposed to size 12. I am using the ...

Re: Feature request: sub-reference types
FWIW, and assuming it's not too difficult to implement, I would support this wholeheartedly. My usage sees my referring to cases and legislation - but there are a myriad of different requirements to how these must be cited, that are region specific. Having a primary format, with sub-formats named pe...

Re: feature list - is there a solution?
BTW: I responded to your question about #3 on my wish list a couple of messages up in this thread. Thanks for your help! There is an Alfred (launcher App) workflow that has recently been popped up in a thread on this forum (you will probably find similar ones over at the Alfred.app forums) - that a...
