Re: Book chapter: chapter title versus book title
The release notes suggest that this is now done in 13.4.3?

Jon, before I pay for BE 13.4.1, has this feature been implemented?

Jon, if there a possibility we might see this in a future version of Bookends?

Volume but no issue
In the APA 5 and APA 6 formats, when there is an issue number but no volume number (so what's entered in the Vol (Issue) field is "(115)" for example), the first parenthesis is not included in the formatted output. For example: Kalish, C. W., & Sabbagh, M. A. (2007). Conventionality an...

Re: Search for attachment file name
Do you mean this? It throws an error... attachments = REGEX '(?i)Anonymous 289.\.pdf' If I use the Spotlight option in the Find box, typing 'Anonymous' brings up all the pdf's *containing* the word, as well as in the titles. If I try "Anonymous 289" (with single or double quotes) I get zer...

Re: Search for attachment file name
Hi, Jon. No, I have the attachment in the Finder, and I'm trying to track down the reference that it's attached to. It's probably an empty reference, since the attachment has not been renamed. I figure there's an obvious way that I simply haven't stumbled across. (I learn most things by stumbling ac...

Search for attachment file name
Sorry to be dense, but how do I search for an attachment name? I'm looking for, for example, Anonymous 289.pdf. I've tried an SQL search on the field 'attachments,' but that doesn't work.

Re: Book chapter: chapter title versus book title
1. Yes, found it 2. There are too many capitalized words for this to be feasible 3. good idea Can I make a request for a change to the Format Manager to allow separate control of the case of the Chapter Title and Book Title? The publisher I'm working with is a major international player. They use va...

Re: Book chapter: chapter title versus book title
Here's the problem. Consider this: Author, A. B. (2019). Chapter about the Efe in Zaire. In Editor, C. D., (Ed.), Book about the Aka in Africa. Cambridge University Press. If I global change the chapter title to Sentence Case, the 'E' and 'Z' will be lost. If I global change the book title to Title ...

Re: Book chapter: chapter title versus book title
So thinking this through (and reading from the User Guide, copied below)... I could Global Change the 'Title' field to Sentence Case. That would change the Chapter Title. And the 'Volume/Issue' field (in Global Change) would be the book title? I need to be sure that changes I make won't mess up my r...

Book chapter: chapter title versus book title
I am working with a publisher whose house style includes the following for a chapter in an edited book: the chapter title is in Sentence Case, while the book title is in Title Case. For example: Holodynski, M. (2009). Milestones and mechanisms of emotional development. In B. Röttger-Rössler & H....
