Preferences fixed
Trashing my preferences worked, thanks. I have a new question, slightly related. I am trying to make a 'Bookends package' for SBL, making more adjustments to the Formatter. I am wondering if it is possible for me to distribute my preferences file to those interested. I noticed when I trashed them, I...

possible for an update?
Would it be possible to make the Title options available for one more field in the future (the Edition field would be best for my purposes). Thanks, Danny

a little help with the config of a format
Hi Jon. I am trying to configure my SBL format for Book to cover everything that may be part of the info; translator, editors, reprinting, edition, etc. Here is what it looks like; a, t ($ed++. $e; $trans. $c; x; l: u, d$; repr., $g), I am not sure what to do specifically for the info next to the op...

reference view still doesn't want to work
Hi Jon. I tried flipping it back to list view. Now something else funny is happening, despite the fact that it will not open in Reference view, the Preferences will not go off of Reference View. If I swictch to List view and close preferences, I go back and its on reference view again.. Curious.

Title options for fields
Jon, I am coming across a small problem I think. For SBL style, if a book is 'revised and update' then I am to put 'rev. and enl.' in the footnote, and 'Rev. and Enl.' in the Bibliography. Obviously its a minor detail. I put 'rev. and enl.' in the edition field, but is there any way to apply the Tit...

reference display and importing from .7x
Hi Jon. I have chosen in preferences the reference display, but it will only open and view my database in list display. second, i noticed some other had trouble importing, I did as well. I had more than a few references that had duplicate BibTex keys, and while importing, v.8 would notice it, ask me...

required fields in Bookends 8
I am wondering if there is any upgrades to the required fields option now in the BibTex preferences. It would be ideal if the required fields would be colored based on what type of reference it is, and those are keyed perhaps to a chosen bibliographic format, or specified for each reference type in ...

adding or ignoring fields in the bibliographic formatter
Hi there. I am trying to further perfect my bibliography formatter. Some books I have are revised, and that needs to be noted in my formats. I used the userfield 2 for Edition, but most books aren't a 3d edition. How do I make it so that the output will include, say, (3d ed.; dallas: Word publisher,...

delicious library and booxster
I was just wondering if there are plans for Bookends to have an interface like that of delicious library and Booxster in the future. I love the barcode scan feature from these apps, and I especially like the image file for book covers. Just wondering Cheers
