After having cloud synced my iPad Mini6 and attempting to download a pdf, the pdf commences but crashes part way through and I see the following: Cannot open page. File format not supported. I’ve attached a screenshot.

Thanks for responding. The delays range from several hours to a day to not at all. The files are downloaded from library-based web sources. Most journal articles are page limited (15-20 pps) so the files are not massive.
When I drag and drop the app responds instantly. That’s fantastic.

I am running Bookends for IOS on IOS 15.1 and the Bookends icon does not appear when I tap the share icon while a pdf is open on my screen. So, it appears to be missing from the share sheet. It works quite well on my Mini 5.
