Re: Request: A second custom text
If the "preceding text" could be placed elsewhere in a citation, perhaps by using a new special character, this would fix the issue.

"Remove Arbitrary Attachment Folders…" button
I'm trying to determine what the Remove Arbitrary Attachment Folders… button does in the general preferences. I don't see any mention of it in the user guide.

Request: A second custom text
There is an issue with the SBL format that I'm trying to resolve, and so thought I'd make the request. The issue is that lexicons for the primary languages (Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic) contain thousands of entries: Too many to use linking. Bible Encyclopedias are the same. And after writing quite a numb...

The @ sign in custom formats
I am working on updating my custom format to conform to the SBL (2nd ed.) format. While working on the format, I found that the @ sign seems to do 2 different things: it can represent the cited page (User Guide pg.262), or in the "Special characters" dropdown in the format manager, the @ s...

Re: "copy notecard and citation" to Mellel
Creating the footnote in Mellel is to place the citation information, whereas the quotation almost always goes in the body of the document. So, I guess this is a feature request then, for "copy notecard and citation" to be able to optionally paste the notecard and create a footnote with th...

"copy notecard and citation" to Mellel
Is there a way to customize the "copy notecard and citation" when pasting to Mellel so that it: 1) removes the initial > from the quote, and 2) creates a footnote and places the citation in the footnote. Currently when I use, at the end of the quote, the citation is placed directly after. ...

Re: Live Bibliography and "Scan a Document" dialogue
I just did a restart and turned live bibliography off and on. That seems to have been the issue.

Re: Live Bibliography and "Scan a Document" dialogue
Same thing happens. If I delete a formatted citation in Mellel (just using the delete key) it also pops up the dialogue box.

Re: Live Bibliography and "Scan a Document" dialogue
Ah, great thanks. I missed the copy citations with modifiers.
But both command-Y and control-command-Y are both bringing up the Scan a Document dialogue, even from the floating palette.

Live Bibliography and "Scan a Document" dialogue
Every time I use the command-Y or floating palette to insert a footnote into Mellel, the Scan a document dialogue comes up. Is there a way to remove this extra step after the first time? Additionally, I want to request something to the pasting citation workflow – the ability to have the Mellel dialo...
