Re: [Return] key in a field of multiple values (AppleScript)

Thank you Jon. It was strangely importing the AppleScript itself into the Tinderbox Spreadsheet. But, your script gave me the clue to figure out a way around it. I finally used Keyboard Maestro to Search the clipboard and replace returns with semicolon.

Thank you again.

for PopClip users, a PDF annotator for Bookends

It can highlight and underline; handy to annotate the PDF without moving your hand off the mouse
It also works in PDF expert, Acrobat Pro (I didn't try it; just hope); and Preview

Restrict the number of characters (words) during Attachment Renaming

I have made Bookends to rename my files in Author Year Title format. Here is the formatting: http://snag.gy/itJB9.jpg But, some of the articles have really long Titles; and give out really ugly file names. is there a way to restrict the number of characters so that very long Titled articles will be ...

Re: BibQuery(ZotQuery) for Bookends

I think this is the right script to copy the citation without launching BibDesk: #!/usr/bin/python # encoding: utf-8 from __future__ import unicode_literals import sys import urllib import os.path import subprocess import workflow import ccl_bplist HOME = os.path.expanduser("~") BIB_DIR = ...

Re: BibQuery(ZotQuery) for Bookends

oh, sorry, I copied the wrong part of the script. The whole script has a number of branches from these, some of them open the recording in BibDesk; others simply copy the bib key in latex citation format: like \cite{John2013} . I copied the part that opens the references. i actually want to get just...

Re: BibQuery(ZotQuery) for Bookends

I now tried landol's script. What is does is: It copies a selected text activates Bookends pastes into the search field searches it This, I have been doing in Keyboard Maestro. The process is simple. The good part in landol's script is it also cleans up the messy text. I like that part of the script...

Re: BibQuery(ZotQuery) for Bookends

Yah, I have seen that one before. I don't get much of use of it.
But,
Do you think that script can be used in Alfred?
Can it insert the citation in an editor, any editor?

BibQuery(ZotQuery) for Bookends

The community in Alfred developed two great reference citation add-ons for BibDesk and Zotero. Look at these tool here: http://www.alfredforum.com/topic/4346-bibquery-search-bibdesk-from-alfred/ http://www.alfredforum.com/topic/3708-zotquery-an-alfred-workflow-for-zotero/ They really great tools whi...
