Scan documents; citations in WORD

Post by webline »

After adding the citations to my WORD document like {Fanon and Moldenhauer, 1985, #214539} I select "scan document" from the bookends scripts menu in WORD.
My first problem: there is a unique ID in my citation but still bookends offers many alternative hits for the citation all found by the year of the entry. Is there a way to limit the search to the uniqueID?

After running the scan - instead of one citation I get three:

Frantz Fanon und Eva Moldenhauer, Schwarze Haut, weiße Masken; Frantz Fanon und Eva Moldenhauer, Schwarze Haut, weiße Masken; Frantz Fanon und Eva Moldenhauer, Schwarze Haut, weiße Masken.

Sometimes bookends even interprets the single citation as repeated citation: Vilém Flusser, Gesten. Versuch einer Phänomenologie; Ebd.; Ebd.

Any ideas what's going wrong here?

I'm guessing you set the citation separator to , instead of ;

Check in preferences, Scan & Bib tab.
