Display the temporary citation so I can sort by it

Post by strickvl »

I'm interested in having a column in the view of my books that I can use to sort my notes by. That column would be the temporary citation (i.e. Someone2003 or whatever it is, even if that's

Code: Select all

{Someone, 2003, #297574}
. Is it possible to have these temporary citations displayed somewhere in the view of my references? I switch a lot between digital and non-digital, and I'd rather not have to copy / export the 'citation' to some dummy text document just to be able to see the temporary designation.

Thanks!

That's not possible in the list view. However, if you want to see the temporary citation for a reference, open the formatted view (bottom pane in the normal compact layout), right click, and select Show Citation and Bibliography.
