Best Place for Databases?

Post by Cynric »

ok this is a two parter - one how do you access say - the library of congress and integrate it into your bookends? - and Two: Are there any databases that any of you have or know of that are usefull and pretty complete (as much as any of them can be)?

Answer to first question: Utilities -> Internet Search

Answer to second question: I'll pass. Someone who in your field is better able to answer that than I.

Many university libraries will have subscriptions to databases; the ones with savvy librarians will have web pages/sites with those databases listed, along with many that are public domain. Check your university library's web site, and you will probably find this. If not, check with some other (well-known) university library's site to get an idea of what's out there.
