barcode scanning
Has anyone tried digitizing their library using a barcode scanner? Is there an easy way to batch-import the ISBN numbers from the barcode scanner into Bookends and have Bookends auto-complete the reference? Or has someone tried going through Google Library, as laid out here http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/scan-and-search-books/ ?
Re: barcode scanning
Hi,
It should be easy to have Bookends import a tagged list of ISBNs in a text file (creating the filter would be simple, even if they weren't tagged). Then select the reference and do an AutoFill (Bookends will autofill them from Amazon, as I recall).

Barcode Scan has been added in Bookends for iOS 3.2.
"Autofill From Internet and Barcode Scan" section in docs.

Interesting. So far I add them to Calibre as empty files if ‘analogue’ so I don’t buy e versions in error.
