How to rename a Type

Post by davidp »

I have a series of historical reports published in the 1940s to cite in Chicago format. I have used the Formats Manager to edit one of the Unused Types but would now like to rename Unused 2 as My Reports (or some such name). Maybe it's brain fade but I cannot find a way to rename a Type - Add and Delete yes - but not rename. Is it possible? How is it done? Many thanks.

Types can be renamed in preferences (Refs tab).

Hey,

In the "Refs" tab there is no field with "references". Also I can't finde a liste to dubble click slowly on an unused type to rename it.
Could you please give some more helping steps to rename a unused type?

greetings and thx

Where are you looking? They are in the Refs tab of the Preferences window.
