Work flow

Post by guidosuurmeijer »

Hi,
The MS-Word index marker switch \f (for making different indices) garbles up the index marking in the scanning process. Decided to postpone the indexing work and the layout-ing until after scan, and will also have to make textual (perhaps referencing) changes to the file after that. This seems relatively simple: for every additional ref/citation make a small file, do a scan, and copy-paste the results into the main file. Are there caveats to this? Has anyone tried this before?
(the file is too big to unscan (±600p., had to remove images to scan), and inserting text into a bibliography with hidden citations seems tricky, so i'm suppressing those)

Best,
Guido
