Magazine with volume, number, issue

Post by Nhaps »

I know that the volume field can hold the issue number in parenthesis, which I use as the number of the magazine. Which field should I choose to input my "issue" number of the magazine? Page 34-35 of the User's Guide offered no clue. Consider this example: "Magazine 24, no. 2 (March/April 1995)". For LaTeX I need to create the following to appear in the preview window:

volume = {24},
number = {2},
issue = {March\slash April}

The first two are created, but what field do I choose to input issue for the third one? Should I create then a new "issue" field from any of the user2-4 available?

ANSWER: I USED USER-2 FIELD FOR THIS PURPOSE, PROBLEM SOLVED.
