This is really exasperating.... library syncs. attachments do not. folder does not show up in the Finder on Mac. PDFs attached on iOS don't show up on Mac, and vice versa. Something tells me it's iCloud being iCloud, but my goodness this is unbelievably frustrating. I've tried all the above stuff. Rebooting, turning off-and-on iCloud Drive under Settings, etc. After all these years, Apple still hasn't figure out cloud services... why Dropbox is able to sync beautifully without a hiccup, while iCloud still can't make a folder appear properly is beyond me.

Yes, iCloud can be problematic for iOS sync for some users (works well for most, but not everyone). I'll ask Serge to chime in.

If there is no Bookends folder in iCloud Drive on Mac, but it's there in iCloud Drive on iOS please download this helper app.
It will create a temporary file (can be deleted after) in that folder forcing macOS to show it.

I will try it when I get back into the office. I didn't think it applied to me, since I don't see a Bookends file on my IOS iCloud, either.
