Finding a reference by surname in V. 13.0

I can't find references in the main window just by typing the firs letters of the surname any more. It helped a lot when finding the references I already had of an author.
I have restarted the program, and my Mac, several times, but that useful feature is not there.
Any ideas of why this happens?

On the other hand, I feel the new version is way more quick in other fields, I really like it.
