Adding keyword to batch of articles

Post by GJPhD »

I read through the manual to find an answer to my (imho) very simple question - can you add a keyword to a batch of articles with one click?

To illustrate: I have 9000+ articles for a meta-analysis that all need a simple keywords 'Needs to be scanned' (so that my candidates know which are scanned (keyword: Scanning P1 done) and which need to be scanned ('needs to be scanned').

However, as far as I know, I can only manage to add a keyword one article at a time.

When I select multiple articles, the 'Edit Reference' pane will not add the keywords to all the selected articles, but only the first article I clicked. Which makes adding a keyword to 9000+ article more work than the actual meta....

Several ways:

1. Refs -> Global Change -> Change Field.
2. Select the reference you want modified and then open Window -> Term Lists -> Keywords. Drag and drop the keywords you want on the reference list.

I'm sure there are others, but that's off the top of my head.
