Hi
I suspect I just didn't read some of the manual in enough detail, but...
The built-in Harvard format for journals fails to print a final period if there are no pages listed. The format code is "a (d) t. f, v, p-." If there are no pages in the reference, the final "." (bound to the "p") fails to print. Is there a way bind it to the entire sequence "f, v, p-" so that if any of those fields are defined, then the period prints too?
I am having a problem with custom format, but I think that this standard format illustrates the problem.
Final period in citation depends only on final field
Re: Final period in citation depends only on final field
The simple solution is to enclose the period in force quote:
a (d) t. f, v, p-`.`
You can also use a conditional group, but the simple solution is probably what you want.
