Weird tiny bug on renamed catalog

Post by alanterra »

I renamed my catalog in the Finder, and upon double-clicking it, Bookends asked me if I wanted to create a new library. Some small setting is awry and Bookends was acting like I was opening it without a document. Upon the second open of the renamed library, the dialog didn't appear.

Bookends identifies the library by its name. If you rename it in the Finder Bookends won't recognize a default library and offer to create a new one.

I don't think that there is any reason for a program to ask me to create a new document when I am opening an existing document. But that's just me, and, obviously, this is a tiny issue.

Hope 2019 is great for you and sonnysoftware.

Ah, sorry, I misread. You're right, I'll look into it.
