Tagging behavior changed in 13.2

The Return/Enter/Tab key used to complete the entry of the tag text being entered, then move to the next tag field ready for the next tag. This has changed in 13.2, as shown in this screen recording

After typing Return and Enter, I click off the window and the tag text is accepted.
After typing hierarchy, I press Tab and the text is accepted, but the next tag field is not selected.

Would it be possible to restore the old behavior?

I don't recall ever supporting such a feature. But it's not a bad idea. In the next update pressing Return or Enter will accept the entry. Pressing tab will accept the entry and place the cursor in a new tag field so you can enter another.

Hm, I went back to my 13.0.0 code and didn't see that. In any case, I think the better behavior is to use tab to accept and allow another entry, with Return/Enter just accepting the tag. That's what I've implemented for the next update. OK?

Sure, that's great!
Thanks!

• When entering a PDF tag, pressing Return or Enter accepts the tag. Pressing Tab accepts the tag and places the cursor in a new empty tag field so you can enter another.

Thanks Jon!

Here's how easy tagging can now be with a Keyboard Maestro palette of keywords.
