marking reference as hit

I know that a reference can be added to the hits list by clicking the check box, but is there a keystroke that will do this? When going through a long list of references, this would be useful to avoid having to move from keyboard to mouse and back again. I assume it is there but I just cannot find out what it is.

Shift-Command-M.

I'll add this shortcut to the Mark menu item to make it clearer.
