Modifying 'types'

Post by mreadman »

Apologies - I'm sure this must've been covered before, but can't find it. I'm a long time Endnote user, making the transition to Bookends - currently using the demo version (which might be at the root of this).

I'm struggling to modify a new 'type' of source - here's the scenario:

I want to create a new 'type' called 'Film', so in Formats Manager I select 'Add type'. What I'd like to do then is re-name the new type ('Film') and then customise the field order.

Probably missing something obvious, but any pointers appreciated.

Types are defined in preferences, Refs tab. Click twice (slowly) on Unused, Unused 1, etc. and rename to Film.
