Unscan in Word 2019 converts all text to superscript

Post by hulk02 »

Please bear with my question, but has anyone seen an issue wherein unscanning a Word document results in all formatting converting to superscript style font starting at the first footnote? I saw other threads that described a parallel problem and tried using Paste Special and RTF fixes to no avail. I am running Bookends 13.2.4 and Word 16.26. I did not have this issue on Word 2011 or at all with Mellel. Has anyone found a solution?

Thank you,
Ryan

I'd look closely at the manuscript at the point the superscript starts. For example, was there an unclosed curly bracket? You should be able to fix the superscript by selecting the text and setting the baseline back to normal. If you have continuing problems with this, please contact tech support directly with the manuscript.
