add text within in-text citation!!!

Post by josephgomes »

I would like to know how to add information or text within the in-text citation parenthetical and it still appears after scanning RTF. For example, I want to add 'e.g., or i.e.,' in front of the in-text citation {*e.g*., author, year, #123456}.

Please see the user guide (Help menu) about how temporary citations are created and how to modify them for specific tasks. Basically, in this case, you want to use quoted text, in between backslashes:

{\e.g. \author, year, #123456}
