Different et al. limits for authors and editors?

Post by alanterra »

I am hoping that I can make the maximum number of authors before an "et al." is used different from the maximum number of editors.

There is a cryptic box in the formats manager

that I can't figure out. It seems like it should allow a different number for authors and editors, but when I use it, it seems to set the same maximum number for both fields.

It works in my tests -- please contact tech support with screen snaps of the reference you're formatting so I can see the authors and editors field and the format you are using.
