Group vs Folder

Post by USMLEBoy »

Hi there,

What's the difference between Group and Folder?

The group icon used to be a gear. But after creating a folder, now all the group icon turned into a double square as the folder's. However, the old groups' icons remain gear.

Does anybody have any idea?

Thank you!

Groups hold references.

Folders hold groups (and/or other folders).

There are two kinds of groups:

The icon for a static group is two overlaid rectangles.

The icon for a smart group is a gear.
