Hi, I have a very specific problem. I need to synchronize two libraries, one in BE, the other in Endnote 9. It seems the easiest way is to export library from BE in xml format and then import it into EN. However, after a long processing of 3800+ records with attachments in BE, a file created in XML format cannot be read by EN. I noticed that xml file generated by BE this way is in Microsoft xml format if one can judge by its icon in the finder. When i try to import into EN by using generic XML filter it imports nothing. Is there a fix to this issue?

The xml Bookends imports can be imported into any EN XML-compliant app (including EndNote 9). Posting this here doesn't do any good. You should be contacting tech support with the file you exported (or better yet, a small file containing a few exported references that you can't get EndNote to import).
