UI issue in full screen

Post by kseggleton »

I am noticing a UI issue in full screen with the PDF displayed. There is overlay of some references and the UI for the PDF annotation toolbar. Doesn't appear the first time I enter fullscreen and select a reference and the PDF view, but tends to occur when I will select another reference and then enter PDF view again. (On MacOS 10.14.6, Bookends 13.4)

Have noticed further UI issues independent of full screen use and that is that the text cursor does not appear in the Notecard view when trying to edit a notecard

Hi Jon, I downloaded 13.4 again but the issue is still occurring, perhaps not as frequently though.

For me this happens on the second, or subsequent, time that I will select a reference in full screen mode and then move to the PDF view. It does not occur the first time I enter full screen mode, select a reference and move to PDF view. Although in saying that there is a buggy transition that occurs on first selection of reference and PDF view, in which there is an initial overlay of the UI elements, as I described in my original post, before it resolves after 0.5 a second.

Actually, it resolves after 0.8 seconds. :-)
That has been fixed in the next update.

Thanks for telling me when you see the glitch, I could reproduce it and I think it's also fixed in the next update.

A minute delay in the disappearance of the list? Sorry, I don't see it, it's instantaneous for me.

Have sent a support request email as this is not a minute delay but a persisting overlay of other UI elements
