How does one disable the floating citation, or change its keyboard shortcut?

background: I'm accidentally triggering the floating citation window a lot :( . So, I apologize as I assume I'm missing something obvious which must be a FAQ. However, I've searched the manual, this website, menu items, Preferences and Apple menu > Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts > Services (I have a huge # of services) and I still can't figure out how to disable the floating citation window.

Bookends Preferences -> Scan & Bib -> Floating Citations -> UNCHECK the Enable checkbox.
