Paperclip not opening attachment in preview

The paperclip has worked flawlessly for me. But I have now a few documents with which it will not open up the attachment in default pdf reader (preview) as it does with all the others. I see the attachment within BE in the window for attachments, but the paperclip is not opening the doc in preview. Any ideas? Thanks.

Bookends just tells the Finder to open the PDF in the default viewer. What happens after that is up to your OS.

Thanks for the reply. You're sure the problem is with Mac OS. Don't know. Seems very strange to me I experience the problem only within BE and only with a very few references, whereas for the rest, everything works great. If by chance you had any further suggestions, it be interested in hearing them. If not, oh well, I'll just have to live with it.
