File with "Don't change case" items

Is it possible to have Bookends to use a common file for "Don't change case" (in the Scan and Bib of Preferences), such as a file stored in Dropbox? This would help avoid losing valuable lists when reinstalling stuff and would make cross-machine coordination easier. The analogy here is the custom formats, which can be safely tucked away in Dropbox.
