Import from EN 20

Post by jzents »

I can import from Endnote 20 via an exported file just fine, but I cannot get the apple events method to work. I have tried linking BE to EN, but that did not help. Is this a change in EN 20 that has broken this or what am I doing wrong. I have both up and the ref I want to export selected in EN 20, then I go to BE and tell it to import from EN, selected reference and nothing happens. I have tried pressing Commmand Y but that does nothing. I am sure I am missing the obvious. Any help would be appreciated!

It works for me. I'm sure it's the OS błocking the AppleEvents. Make sure Bookends and EN 20 can talk to each other in Privacy.

Sorry, just got around to this again. I do not know how to make sure that EN 20 and BE can talk to each other "in Privacy". Can you please tell me how to do that? Sorry to not know this.

I kept trying after my previous post and I finally got it. That fixed it. Sorry!

I should have been more specific: System Preferences -> Privacy.
