Open Reference With Double Click

Post by Michael »

Hi!

How can I change the default behavior for double click in the references pane from opening/closing the attachments pane to opening the attachment externally (e.g. in Preview?)

Thanks, Michael

Double click on the paper clip itself to do that.

Or if you have move than one PDF attached to the reference, right-click on the paper clip and open the one you want.

P.S. Please see the User Guide (Help menu) -- it's an exhaustive compilation of all the features Bookends offers, with many examples and images.

Great, thanks for your kind help! Does the attachment pane intentionally collapse when I double click the paper clip?

Sorry, it's working correctly.

I meant to say *click* on the paper clip, not double click. Double click will toggle between attachment pane open/close or edit pane open/closed, depending on your setting in preferences.
