Bookends pCloud and Attachments

Post by fost219 »

I wondered if pCloud would be a cloud service where it would be possible to maintain an Attachments folder that would not introduce the problems with syncing/Library corruption that sync services like Dropbox present. Currently, I maintain a local Attachments folder which I backup (not sync) to pCloud, but wondered if it would be possible to maintain the Attachments folder on pCloud without the local folder.

You can use any file sync service you want to sync attachments (unless you want to use Bookends for iOS, too, which requires the use if iCloud).

It's only the library file itself that shouldn't be put in Dropbox. For that you should use the built-in Bookends cloud sync, which is atomic (just syncing the data that have changed, not the entire file each time).
