Extra comma in subsequent citations with short title

Post by aaronc »

Hi! I'm wondering how I can remove the extra comma between the short title and cited page number.

1. Jon D Levenson, “The Sources of Torah: Psalm 119 and the Modes of Revelation in Second Temple Judaism,” in Ancient Israelite Religion: Essays in Honor of Frank Moore Cross, eds. Patrick D. MillerPaul D. HansonS. Dean McBride (Philadelphia: Fortress Press, 1987), 223.
2. Levenson, “Ancient Israelite Religion,” , 224.

How can I set the format manager to display: Levenson, “Ancient Israelite Religion,” 224. ?

Thanks in advance.

You tell Bookends what to output before and after the Cited Pages in the format. So edit the format and remove the ", " in the Before field.

Oh yes! That works! I removed the comma at the cited pages option box. I then used field order to put it a page field code (p-) and it works.

Thanks a lot!

For citations don't output the p- (unless that's what you want). To cite ad hoc pages, use Cited Pages

{temp cite@12-14}
