How to add an original title to a reference?

Post by domino »

I've been working for several days now with Bookends and Mellel and I'm really happy with this combination, but I feel around to adjust my settings. Using APA 7th and writing in French, I have to insert an original title between brackets []. For this purpose, I filled Trans Title, but I can't understand how to set the format manager. Where and how do I have to insert which field into the following one:

Code: Select all

a. (d). t `(`u3*~, trad. ~u2~ ed.~$ Vol. $v`)`. u`. `($Ouvrage original publié en $u11.) {$https://doi.org/$u17^z}

... in order to obtain this format (the brackets below are in bold):

Schön, D. (1994). Le praticien réflexif. À la recherche du savoir caché dans l’agir professionnel [The reflective practitioner: How professionals think in action] (J. Heynemand et D. Gagnon, trad.). Logiques. (Ouvrage original publié en 1983.)

Thanks for your help.

Have you read the User Guide (Help menu)? Everything is explained there. If nothing else, take the video tutorial

Translated title is u11. So insert it in square brackets after the t.

OK. It's [u10] for a translated title. I just did not insert it at the right place. Thanks for replying.
