Bracket at the beginning and end of scanned document?

Post by FESteward »

I've noticed a strange bracket at the beginning and end (two there) of my scanned Word document. I can't seem to remove it. I think it has to do with the scanning. Anyone else had this happen? Any suggestions for removing them?

Bookends isn't putting them there. I haven't seen this before, maybe someone else has an idea.

Thanks, I'll look at trying to figure out what Word may be doing.

I had this happened to me with a document that had a stray Zotero reference in it. No idea why. I think the way I fixed it was to unlink the Zotero reference before scanning.

Not sure if Zotero actually was the underlying reason or not.

For me I think it was a stray "bookmark" or two. No idea I had put them in there, but taking them out didn't seem to matter.
