Creating Group From A Search

Post by doclrb »

Good Afternoon,

If I perform a search and a group of refs is identified, is there a shortcut or feature that allows me to create a smart or static group from that search?

PS: When I try to duplicate the search in smart group creation, I capture many fewer refs. Apparently, the search box conducts a 'more global search as its default.

There are several ways. One is to select the refs in the list (Command-A) and drag them over the groups pane. Drop them, assign a name to the group, and you're done.

Since you don't say how the two searches were performed I can't tell you why the results are different.
