Different attachment folders for different libraries

Post by Terjea »

Hi,

I'm importing a huge library from Zotero into a new one in Bookends. I don't want its attachements to be stored in the same attachment folder as my existing library. How can I do this? (My understanding is that the default attachment folder is universal for all libraries, so I am looking for how to make an exception for a particular library.)

You can assign a specific attachment folder to a library with File -> Set Default Attachment Subfolder. It's preferable to make it a subfolder in the global default folder, but if you use the Browse button you can set it to an ad hoc folder outside if that if you need to.
