Truncated PDF file names

Truncated PDF file names

When moving a PDF to the attachments folder, I note that the file name gets truncated, since I presume Bookends doesn't handle long file names?

For example a file that started out name "" gets presented as "•lambert - letter and #AD6BD.pdf" in the Keywords field of Bookends.

Is there anything I can do about this besides shortening the names I give files? I note that some of my PDFs have file names that show up just fine that are quite long - maybe this is because I added the link to the PDF AFTER I had already placed the PDF in the Attachments folder?

Right. It's another Unicode/Bookends 7 thing. Long file names in Bookends 8 are not a problem.
