Sorting References for Printing?

Post by ralf »

For me sometimes it's necessary to print my hits when I walk to the library, so it would be nice if they were sorted for example by author or source. So when I print my hits (as APA 5 th) they are sorted in a way I don't understand and "Sort all References" doesn't have any effect.
What am I doing wrong, or is it a bug?

Thanks
Ralf

Hi Ralf,

Sort All References sorts the database. You want to sort the Hits List (which by its nature can be in any arbitrary order you might need).

To do this, select the references you want to print and then sort the Hits (Hits -> Sort Hits List...). When you then print "the hits" they should appear in the sorted order.

Hi Jon,
sometimes the solution is so simple if one would open his eyes ;-)

Thank you very much
