Mixed-up references

Post by Philip »

Anyone have an idea why references imported from EbscoHost PSYC Info have incorrect journal article titles associated with an otherwise correct reference? The author name, journal volume, journal title, and page numbers are correctly associated with one another but the title of the article is from another reference.

Thanks,

Philip

Hi Philip,

Sounds like the exact format of the info you are receiving doesn't match what the filter expects. Please compare the two and edit the filter accordingly (it is very easy). Often the same info from two different sources can vary slightly, and of course vendors can change the output format on a whim.

If you can't figure out how to do this, send me the text file you are trying to import and the filter you are using.
