Make Bookends keep the editor name "as it is"

Post by Jessenig »

Is there a way to prevent Bookends to abbreviate the Name of an Editor if it should not do so (eg. by surrounding it with quotes or special characters)?

Here's the problem:

I'm trying to add an "Edited Book" with the Title: "Richtlinien zur Manuskriptgestaltung", which is edited by the "Deutsche Gesellschaft für Psychochologie (DGPs)" which could be translated as "German Society for Psychology (GSPs)".

Editor: Deutsche Gesellschaft für Psychologie (DGPs)
Title: Richtlinien zur Manuskriptgestaltung
City: Göttingen
Publisher: Hogrefe

So the reference should look like:
Deutsche Gesellschaft für Psychologie (DGPs) (Ed.). (2016). Richtlinien zur Manuskriptgestaltung. Göttingen: Hogrefe.

But it looks like:
(DGPs), D. G. F. P. (Ed.). (2016). Richtlinien zur Manuskriptgestaltung. Göttingen: Hogrefe.

Any Idea how to make Bookends keep this editor as it is, without editing the format and changing settings for all editors? Is there something like quotes, or some other special characters to tell Bookends to keep the field formatted as it is?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, just found the answer in the manual (yes, RTFM, mea culpa!).

Page 192:

If a particular name should not be parsed, for example the author is an institution, place a comma after the last
character and Bookends will not attempt to format it when creating a bibliography. Commas elsewhere in the
name will be output as entered. For example, you would enter "The American Council on Diet, Health, and
Fitness" as

The American Council on Diet, Health, and Fitness,

Sorry for posting too fast.

Best,
