Comics citations

Post by Bukatman »

Does anyone have a citation template for comic books and/or comic strips?

The end result should look something like this:

Stan Lee and Larry Leiber (w), Jack Kirby (p), and Dick Ayers (i), "The Man in the Ant Hill," Tales to Astonish 27 ([city of publication]: Marvel Comics, January 1962), [page numbers].

If someone has one they could share, that would be great. If someone's handy with creating these and could make one for me, so much the better (you'd rate a thank you in the book I'm prepping).

Thanks,

This is a garden variety output. Please take a few minutes to take the tutorials (PDF and video) about formatting. And refer to the User Guide for complete details (all in the Help menu).

Here's a generic sort of order that assumes the information is stored in the normal fields and you mean for the square brackets to actually appear in the output. I don't know about the letters after the authors name, I'll assume they were entered in the library as it.

a, "t," t ([l]: u, d), [p-].

Start with this and edit as needed.
