Bookends doesn't seem to include a built-in filter for Wiley InterScience's plain text export format. Is there an existing filter?

Most science sites that offer to export files do so in one of several styles: RIS (most common), Refer, and Pubmed. Look at the file and compare it to the corresponding filters. Once you find the best match, you may have to tweak the filter (usually just changing the tag that denotes a new reference). If none of these match Wiley Interscience, you can post a snippet here and I'll see if I (or anyone else) recognize(s) it.

It does seem to be close to RIS. The format isn't specified on the Wiley website, but here's an example:

Right. So make a new filter based on RIS (name it Wiley Interscience or whatever) and change the "reference begins with" to 'AU:'.

I know this is an old topic but I can't get Bookends to import the .txt file exported from Wiley Interscience (exported to Mac format, plain text).

I've created a new filter based on RIS, changed the relevant tags to those used in the Wiley citation format and have the "references start with AU" as per this thread.

When I try to import BE pops up a message that no reference was imported.
Any suggestions?

The tags end in a colon, which you didn't add in the import filter (AU:, not AU).
