Delicious Library

The wonderful library management software Delicious Library allows one to use an isight camera to add books via the UPC symbol. This is an amazingly fast way to lookup books and download information.

Unfortunately, the export format doesn't seem to conform to any standards - it is just an export of all the Amazon.com info that Delicious Library has stored.

I'd like some way to import this data into Bookends.

Anyone able to help?

Hi Luhmann,

I took a look at the export -- it looks like a modified tab-delimited file. Although it might be possible to construct a filter for it, it wouldn't be terribly satisfactory. Why not contact Delicious Monster and ask that they provide a standard export format (Refer, BibTeX, RIS, etc.) for DL?

After some research I found that Booxter offers iSight bar code scanning and also BibTeX export. So that seems like the best solution!
